'Ah CRAP!' instantly Uni's first instinct was to run back to the stone archway as if his life depended on it... well honestly because it did. His heart was pounding as he thought of the behemoth of a creature that was behind him.
'WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS THAT!?!?' As he continued to sprint, Uni stole a quick glance at the ice creature. It stood frozen in place, but its unblinking eyes locked onto Uni, sending shivers down his spine. Shifting his focus back to the stone archway, Uni noticed something quite strange.
'Is that smoke in front of the entrance?' As he closed the distance, his suspicions were confirmed. Sure enough, an eerie haze of unfamiliar smoke enveloped the entrance. Finally reaching the stone archway, Uni tried to leave, only to discover an obstruction barring his way. Panic began to rise within him as he grappled to comprehend the gravity of the situation. But before he could a bone-chilling growl, even more menacing than before, pierced the air, now ominously close to Uni.
Before he could even turn around, Uni was violently hurled across the cave. A gut-wrenching scream escaped his lips as an excruciating, piercing pain shot through his back. Collapsing onto the ground, Uni writhed in agony, Uni felt something he couldn't explain, it was similar to the intense burning he felt earlier but now the pain radiated from his ribs, leaving him to fear they might be broken.
'....This hurts'
Uni tried to get up, but before he could regain his footing, he was once again seized and tossed around like a mere ragdoll. Another excruciating scream escaped his lungs as he was thrown across the cave. Not giving him any breathing room. The giant monstrosity appeared behind Uni in a flash grabbing onto him.
The ice monstrosity brought Uni closer to his face, and that's when Uni finally got a good look at him. The ice monster's body was a hulking manifestation of frost and malevolence. Towering above Uni, its form exuded an overwhelming presence that sent chills down his spine. Thick layers of jagged ice encased its monstrous frame, giving it an imposing and grotesque appearance. The ice seemed to pulsate with an eerie, bluish glow, casting an ethereal aura around the creature.
'What the hell are you?' As if it heard Uni's question, the monstrous creature tightened its grip around him. The pressure intensified, as if the weight of the entire world was crushing down upon him, leaving him gasping for air, struggling to bear the unbearable.
Looking down at his hand, Uni's eyes widened as he forgot about the celestial weapon he had with him -- The Jingu. A flicker of hope ignited within him, and he desperately attempted to move his arm, only to find his movements restrained by the relentless grip of the monstrous creature.
As quickly as the plan formed, it dissolved. Feeling utterly hopeless He felt ready to succumb to the clutches of death, but in that critical moment, Uni thought about the other Mojo he had called, { Phoenix Pyre } as the grip intensified, Uni really had no other choice. his final gamble for survival.
Uni glanced down at his arms, and to his astonishment, they shimmered in a radiant, bright orange hue. A surge of energy coursed through him, and in that instant, he heard the monster screech in agonizing pain, forced to release its grip on him. Uni's own voice mingled with the monster's wail as the impact with the ground intensified the searing agony within him, confirming his earlier fears—some of his ribs were undoubtedly broken. However he had time to grimace. Although with a struggle, Uni managed to lift himself up.
He looked at the Ice monster and noticed it was still in pain from whatever Uni had unleashed upon it earlier. The situation was so perplexing that he found himself questioning his own certainty about what exactly had transpired. He looked down at his arms and noticed they were still glowing in the bright orange hue. Confusion struck him harder when he noticed the Jingu in his hand glowing too, as if caught in the same bewitching spell. Before he could even wrap his head around it, the monster abruptly stopped screeching and locked eyes with Uni once more.
"Well, looks like I've really ticked it off," Uni muttered, his eyes darting around in search of any possible cover. But fate had different plans. In a flash, the creature grabbed hold of him again, only to let go in an instant, causing it to wail in pain once more.
Barely landing on his feet, Uni stumbled a bit before casting a gaze at the monster, wailing in pain as it stared at its hand. Realizing this was a chance, Uni ran to the closest cover he could find, letting out a huge sigh of relief for a moment. The brief moment of tranquility allowed him to catch his breath and gather his thoughts.
'So obviously this weird orange covering my arms is somehow hurting him..... maybe I can actually use it to take down this frost giant.' His gaze shifted to the towering adversary, and a wave of uncertainty washed over him. "But how on earth am I supposed to get close enough to attack without becoming an ice cube?" He muttered, then he looked around before placing his glance upon the Jingu.
'Of Course! this thing literally has the power to expand right? I could just use it to attack from a distance.' With that, Uni was almost ready to fight, but first, he was curious about this bright orange, so he clicked on { Phoenix Pyre } hoping to get some more information.
