Welcome to the Mortal Gods ...

{ Initiation complete }

{ Uni, Welcome to the Mortal Gods }

{ The Pantheon is now accessible }

Laying on the floor, Uni had no time to process what he just heard as he was still feeling a lingering pain coursing through his body despite gradually subsiding. Moments stretched into minutes as he remained there. Finally he mustered the resolve to lift himself up, inhaling deeply to steady his emotions, before directing his gaze back at the screen. There was a multitude of strange text, making Uni feel that his head was spinning.

{ Ember remnants collected: 0/500 }

{ Rank: Mortal }

{ Deity Rank: SSS+ }

{ Mojo }

{ Deity Bond 0/7 }

Trying to make sense of the situation, Uni stared at the screen for a while, until an inexplicable urge compelled him to click on { Mojo }. Ashe did, Uni was confronted with an even more bewildering sight.

Mojo's: { Ruyi Jingu Bang }, { Phoenix Pyre }...

The first thing Uni noticed was the Jingu, remembering that's the name Wukong gave his staff. Thinking back to his time in the clouds, Uni sighed and sat on his bed. 'So I guess all of that wasn't a dream after all... But if that's the case, how was it possible?' Looking back at the Mojo's, curiosity filled his bones, as Uni clicked on { Ruyi Jingu Bang }.

Mojo: { Ruyi Jingu Bang }

Mojo Class: Mystic

Mojo Tier: SSS+

Mojo Variant: Weapon

Mojo Detailing: { The Jingu Bang, in all its magnificence, represented more than mere metal and magic. It embodied the spirit of hope, the strength of resilience, and the belief in the impossible. Crafted from the fires of celestial dragons and tempered in the roaring ocean waves, it possessed a beauty that captured the essence of both earth and heaven.}

Staring at everything in front of him, he wasn't sure make of it, but he could, he was then interrupted by a sudden quake. Staring at everything in front of him, he wasn't sure make of it. But before he could comprehend it fully, the ground beneath him began to shake violently, jolting his entire room. The already broken down ceiling began cracking ominously, sending shards of debris crashing down with each passing second.. Standing up, Uni knew that staying on the bed could be dangerous, so he tried to leave, however, in a cruel twist of fate, his footing betrayed him, and he found himself hurtling through the ground. The world blurred as Uni descended into the unknown.

'ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? WHY AM I FALLING AGAIN??' But then Suddenly, the chaotic descent came to an abrupt halt. "AHH, CRAP that hurt!" Uni found himself laying on solid ground, but the surroundings were far from familiar. Slowly rising from the ground, Uni looked around at the Underground. With torches lined up against the rugged stone walls at regular intervals, their flickering flames casting a dim glow.

Uni's gaze followed the path illuminated by the torches, seeing that it led deeper into this Unknown passage. Looking Up, Uni saw the gapping hole that was left as a result of the violet shaking. The cause of such upheaval remained a mystery to him.

Still perplexed by the scene, but knowing he could do any about, Uni let out a deep sigh, and began taking a few cautious steps forward, but Suddenly, a sharp movement caught Uni's attention, causing him to instinctively look up. Uni caught a glimpse of something hurtling towards him with incredible velocity, narrowly missing his head. He stumbled backward, with his heart pounding in his chest.

"What the hell was that?!?" Taking a few moments to collect himself, Uni checked his surroundings before dusting himself off and walking towards whatever flew at him. Filled with apprehension, Uni carefully moved closer to mysterious object, Uni extended their arm, slowly reaching out to touch the object. His fingertips grazed its surface, and a surge of electricity coursed through Uni's veins. The sudden jolt sent a chill down his spine. Looking closer a shock of realization coursed through his body.

It was the Jingu. 'The Jingu? what is it doing here, and why does it look sorta different?' Uni was observing the Jingu but he almost didn't notice it because now, instead of resembling a plain old pillar, it now gave a mystical aura. The Jingu had transformed into a divine artifact. Adorned with intricate carvings that depicted celestial battles and mythical realms, the staff emanated a mystical aura, exuding an unmistakable sense of godly power. Beautiful pieces of a shimmering, otherworldly metal substance adorned each end of the staff, capturing the essence of divine might.

"This... now this is a weapon of a god! Before it felt like any old stick. I wonder what made it changed so much?" In awe at the new Jingu, Uni put his hand on one end of the staff and effortlessly lifted it off the ground and began carelessly swinging it around, just like when he was in the clouds. "This is so strange, the Jingu feels so much better to swing around for some reason." As he stopped swinging, Uni gave the Jingu a glance then gave the passage a glance as well, "Oddly I feel much safer with this next to me... not that I would even have a clue about how to use it... but still."

With the new resolve, Uni began to walk deeper into this foreign passage, each step carrying him deeper into the unknown. As he walked, Uni looked at his arm, and realized his hairs were standing. A sudden awareness washed over him as he became aware of the subtle breeze gently caressing his face. 'The temperature changed?? doesn't that usually mean the entrance is somewhere close??' As if to answer his question, in the distance Uni saw something glowing, as if to elucidate his way out of here.

As he grew closer, Uni noticed a stone archway, with a rough and weather surface. Uni lit up for a moment thinking he found a way to leave, only for the smile to run away from his face. Although Uni did see the cave entrance in the distance, he also realized something else. 'Isn't the temperature unnaturally low?' I was only feeling a little breeze before, but now it feels like someone is dropping ice cubes down my back.' And it wasn't helping that his clothes were as flimsy as paper, barely giving him any protection against cold... But at least he had some form of shoes, because if not, his feet would be in danger of being forest bitten.

However amidst all the concerns, Uni still marched on, albeit cautiously. 'This really doesn't seem like a good idea at all... but what's the worst that could happen?' he muttered to himself, trying to summon up some courage

Walking forward, it seemed the temperature dropped with every step, making Uni wonder what could possible be waiting ahead for him. Just as Uni reached the threshold of the stone archway, a sudden gust of wind swept through the passage, extinguishing the feeble light of the torches that surrounding him. Uni almost didn't even notice as the light coming from the other side of the archway illuminated the nearby area.

As Uni looked around, he attempted to peer into the stone archway, but something peculiar impeded his view. It was as if a solid wall stood in his way, blocking any glimpse of what lay beyond. 'What... is going on?' Despite his best efforts, he couldn't see through the archway, as if it was sealed shut. Yet, despite the visual barrier, he felt an undeniable urge to step forward, as if an unseen hand beckoned him onward.. Stepping into the void beyond the archway. It was as if he had entered another realm entirely. The coldness intensified, penetrating his very core. It felt as though he was submerged in a frozen abyss, surrounded by a stillness that sent chills down his spine.

Venturing a little deeper into this frozen wonderland, Uni couldn't believe that all of this was under the orphanage. It had walls encased in glistening ice formations, with icicles hanging, and some stalagmites all around, but what really caught his attention was the ceiling... it was gone.

Before he could even question it, a bone-chilling growl, low and menacing, reverberated through the cavern, causing Uni's heart to freeze in his chest, the very essence of fear coursing through his veins. His heart skipped a beat as he spun around, eyes widening in terror. And there, looming before him, stood a towering ice monster, its icy blue eyes piercing into Uni's soul with a malevolent gleam, and its jagged frost-covered claws outstretched, poised to strike...

'Ah CRAP!'
